The Council of European BioRegions is thrilled to announce the appointment of Stamatiki Kritas as the new Managing Director, effective September 1, 2024.
Stamatiki (Stamie) brings a wealth of experience from her extensive career in academia, innovation, and industry. Her cross-sector expertise, honed through years of working with multidisciplinary teams across Europe and Australia, will further strengthen CEBR’s mission to support the growth and success of bioscience clusters across Europe.
Stamie succeeds Anaïs Le Corvec, who has served as Managing Director for the past seven years, leaving behind a remarkable legacy.
Since May 2023, Stamie has served as CEBR Vice President, a role she will now step down from in order to lead the CEBR team.
Hickmah Tagaully, CEBR Board Member since May 2023, will take up the role of Vice President, succeeding Stamie in the position she has held over the past year. With Hickmah’s deep expertise and passion for driving innovation in the life sciences sector, we are confident she will continue to advance CEBR’s mission and bring fresh perspectives to our initiatives.
