Principles

CEBR is a membership-driven network of life science clusters and regional ecosystems across Europe, representing subscription members and cluster partners across the world. Together, we represent and support a critical mass of SMEs, and hundreds of universities and research centres.

Members are required to support our vision to strengthen transfer of knowledge and collaboration between life science clusters/ecosystems in Europe and support sustainable growth for SMEs, creating a competitive Europe in the global economy; and our mission to create a European platform for cluster/ network development & collaboration and our aim to increase visibility of clusters/ bioregions and their contribution to sustainable growth.

They are also required to pay the annual membership fee to enjoy the full benefits of the network.

CEBR offers two types of membership:

  • Associate membership – for organisations that are not located in the European Union or that are a netwrok of organisations. Associate members have the same rights as full members, except they cannot be elected to the Management Board. Annual membership fee: 950 EUR (2024).

The membership fee is fully charged regardless of the moment of the year it is granted. Only if membership is solicited in the last trimester of the year, a reduction of 60% on the membership fee will be applied if the new member enrolls for at least one more full year.
