Between 20 November and 1 December 2026, CEBR, as partner of the BRIGHTskills project, is organising seven free online workshops with the support of its member clusters and national partners. Each workshop presents a skills intelligence briefing for a single country: Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Germany, France, Austria and Ireland.
BRIGHTskills, a European Pact for Skills initiative co-funded by the European Union, maps workforce trends and future skills needs across the health industry. The workshops bring that evidence down to national level and open it up for discussion with each country’s ecosystem: companies, clusters, universities, training providers, research organisations and public authorities.
What you’ll take away
Each country briefing covers:
- Evidence base and confidence level: the evidence behind the analysis, and how confident we can be in its findings.
- Ecosystem snapshot: sector structure, main clusters and regions, key actors, and the policy and funding frameworks that matter.
- Skills priorities: urgent and emerging skills, hybrid roles in demand, and how your country compares with the EU average.
- Training landscape: preferred formats, barriers to training, existing providers and funding mechanisms.
- What makes your country different: the features that set your ecosystem apart from the rest of Europe.
- Implications for training design: what the findings mean for future courses, upskilling programmes and curricula.
- Limitations: a transparent view of what the evidence can, and cannot yet, tell us.
