The Romanian Healthcare Awards international competition, in its third edition, took place between September and December 2022, and the awards ceremony was held on December 16 at the JW Marriott Grand Hotel in Bucharest, bringing together in the same hall the elite of the entire medical industry in Romania.
Romanian Healthcare Awards is the first and largest competition with an international jury dedicated to doctors, medical teams and hospitals in Romania, an event recognizing innovation and excellence in the field of health, which aims to identify and appreciate examples of good practice in the Romanian medical system, individual and team achievements.
The competition jury was formed by 27 international experts from Romania, Bulgaria, France, the Republic of Moldova, Norway, Belgium, Ireland and Great Britain, and there were seven judged categories: “Medical Team of the Year”, “Hospital of the Year” , “Doctor of the Year”, “Research Project of the Year”, “Medical Innovation of the Year”, “Medical Campaign of the Year”, respectively “Quality of Medical Services and Patient Safety”.
ROHEALTH members participated in the competition in the belief that they have made and continue to make a constant and notable contribution to top-performing medical innovation and research in Romania, and above all, because they brought change for the better and proved that determination and professionalism always succeed. And the 8 recognitions acquired, one of them being by winning the Grand Trophy of the competition, attest this.
“We are extremely proud of the achievements of our members and we are happy whenever these merits reach the national and international stages and competitions of the Romanian Healthcare Awards scale. We generate and support daily Romanian initiatives and activities that improve health and the field of bioeconomy. But most of all, we encourage cooperation with the aim of increasing competitiveness. We are firmly convinced that only together we can be better, and events as this prove it. We are happy to contribute through everything we do to a better system for patients” says Flaviana Rotaru, president of ROHEALTH –The Health and Bioeconomy Cluster.
