The Council of European BioRegions is pleased to announce that CEBR members STUNS Life Science and Stockholm Science City have been selected to host and co-organise the CEBR Annual Meeting 2026, which will take place in Uppsala and Stockholm, Sweden, on 20–21 May 2026.
This year’s call for expressions of interest attracted excellent proposals from several CEBR members, reflecting the strong engagement and collaborative spirit within the European life science cluster community. The Board was highly appreciative of the quality and commitment shown in all submissions, which demonstrated the strength and diversity of the CEBR network.
Uppsala and Stockholm represent one of Europe’s most vibrant life science regions — home to world-leading companies, world-class research institutions, and a long-standing culture of collaboration. Together, STUNS Life Science and Stockholm Science City offer a dynamic platform for European dialogue on cluster development, innovation, and cooperation.
With their Nobel Prize heritage, strong tradition of hosting global events, and commitment to fostering innovation, the Uppsala–Stockholm region provides a unique and inspiring setting for CEBR’s flagship Annual Meeting. The 2026 edition will gather life science cluster managers, innovation leaders, and ecosystem partners from across Europe to exchange best practices, explore new collaborations, and strengthen the European life science landscape.
CEBR warmly congratulates STUNS Life Science and Stockholm Science City on their successful proposal and thanks all members who submitted applications for their enthusiasm and support in strengthening the CEBR network and its impact across Europe.
Further details about the event programme and registration will be announced in early 2026.
